Analysis of the Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the Implementation of Online Learning for Students of SMP NEGERI 4 MANOKWARI

Abstract

 The objectives of this study are 1) to determine the impacts that influence the learning activities of students at SMP Negeri 4 Manokwari, 2) to determine what impacts influence the teaching and learning activities of students at SMP Negeri 4 Manokwari. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive analysis techniques. Analysis of research data results is obtained from the process of searching and systematically compiling, data obtained from the results of observation, interviews and the field, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusions and verification. The results of the study show that, 1) the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the implementation of online learning for students is by utilizing the Classroom and Whatsapp applications, the use of RPP as usual, only the material is summarized as effectively as possible and written work evaluations that can be taken and collected directly to the school. 2) factors that influence teaching and learning activities for students are the lack of effectiveness and efficiency of time, minimal student enthusiasm and minimal understanding of the material.
