Peningkatan Keterampilan Kolaborasi Melalui Pembalajaran Berbasis Dicovery Learning di SMAN 7 Kota Kediri
Abstract
The 1st Century Learning emphasizes the importance of various skills, in addition to cognitive abilities, such as collaboration which are essential for global competition. This study aims to improve the collaboration skills of class XI MIPA 3 students of SMAN 7 Kota Kediri with a total of 35 students on psychotropic is a Class Action Research using Discovery Learning through Lesson Study with two cycles developed by Kemmis and Taggart 1998. The instruments used in data collection were observation sheets and collaboration rubrics. This research method is in the form of a status diagnosis and a description of the increase in each cycle. From the diagnosis, it was found that there was an increase in the competency of collaboration skills seen from the results of observations before learning compared with after learning cycle 1 and 2. Students’ collaboration competence increased dramatically in cycle 2 where all groups scored above 80%, which included in good criteria. Based on the criteria, it can be concluded that Discovery Learning is able to improve students’ collaboration skills in the topic of psychotropic.
