TEKNIK ITERASI USER PERSONA DALAM PENGGALIAN KEBUTUHAN PERANGKAT LUNAK

Abstract


Context: Pengembangan perangkat lunak (PL) mengacu pada aspek daur hidup PL dimana PL dituntut untuk dapat selalu berkembang dan memiliki aspek kebergunaan (usability), salah satu pendekatan yang memungkinkan adalah dengan memahami kebutuhan pengguna yang berinteraksi dengan sistem tersebut. Pendekatan populer yang sering digunakan didalam metode HCI adalah User Persona. Suatu teknik pendekatan dengan memahami apa kebutuhan dari sistem yang memang seharusnya menjadi fokus dari pengembang.Objective: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memodifikasi User Persona yang telah digunakan oleh beberapa penelitian terdahulu sebagai proses penggalian kebutuhan dalam fase pengembangan PL.Method: Penelitian yang dilakukan mengimplementasikan metode yang digunakan oleh Acuna hasil modifikasi dari metode Cooper. Namun demikian, metode Acuna memiliki kelemahan pada aspek validasi dimana alur dari user persona yang digambarkan merupakan suatu alur berurutan dalam satu fase.Results: Metode Cooper tepat digunakan untuk mengembangkan PL terutama untuk menggali pengetahuan dari pengguna, namun demikian kelemahan dari metode ini terletak pada fase validasi.Conclusion: Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan modifikasi metode Cooper menjadi model iteratif sehingga setiap fase dipastikan telah divalidasi oleh pengguna. Penggalian kebutuhan merupakan suatu fase yang penting didalam pengembangan PL hasil dari User Persona sangat mempengarui kebutuhan dari sistem.
