The Effect Use Azolla Microphylla Filtrate As Nitrogen Source On Physical Condition Nata De Coco

Abstract


Nata De Coco is a cellulose compound that is the result of synthesis of sugar by forming bacterium is Acetobacter xylinum. Along with the slogan "back to nature", people's interest in using natural materials is increasing. This study aimed to investigate the effect of Azolla microphylla filtrate as nitrogen sources on the production of nata de coco seen from the thickness of the resulting nata. The method used is the true experimental research design that is The Post Test Only Control Group Design. Nata thickness measured using calipers and the data were analyzed using one way Anova followed Duncan test. The results showed that the highest nata 0.660 cm thickness on the treatment A1 and lowest thickness of 0.272 cm at perakuan A6. Based on the test results one way ANOVA has F count 75 345 > F table 2:57 which means that Ho is rejected, there is the effect of the thickness of the filtrate Azolla microphylla nata de coco. From the test results A1 Duncan 5% treatment was significantly different from other treatments.
