DEVELOPMENT CENTERS FOR DISEASES CONTROL (CDC) MODEL: SELF- ASSESSMENT & PLANING HEALTH SCHOOL IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (SD) MUHAMMADIYAH DI KOTA MALANG

Abstract


Community nursing are doing health promoting activity like case finding in school, integrating health live style concept in the curriculum, preventing safety and physical environment of school. Centers for Diseases Control (CDC) Control Model give strategy to healthy school and safety program for school student. This article purpose is self assessment school condition, identification strengthen and weakness program and school policy related to health education, physical education, health services, nutrition service, counseling, psychological, & social services, healthy school environment, health promotion for staff, family/community involvement. The result health education about the danger cigarettes and narcotic drug is 62%, health services about school nurse is 32%, nutrition services about school canteen hygiene is 46%, family/community involvement is 44%. Networking between Pembina UKS team from central until villages, puskesmas, school, and community nurse needed to create condition school health and well-being.
