Studi permasalahan pedagang jamu tradisional di Malang

Abstract


Produsen dan penjual jamu tradisional sering kali menghadapi berbagai permasalahan, baik selama produksi maupun pemasarang. Pada studi ini, identifikasi permasalahan produski dan pemasaran jamu melalui kegiatan observasi dan wawancara terhadap penjual jamu tradisional di wilayah Malang dilakukan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua kelompok penjual jamu di wilayah Malang dan penelitian dilakukan pada Bulan Maret hingga Juni 2018. Hasil pengumpulan data menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat beberapa permasalah utama yang dihadapi para penjual jamu tradisional, yaitu (1) jumlah produksi yang terbatas karena keterbatasan alat; (2) pemasaran terbatas karena pemasaran hanya dari rumah ke rumah; serta (3) kehighienisan jamu rendah karena kebersihan selama produksi kurang terjaga.Temuan yang diperoleh melalui penelitian ini dapat dijadikan dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam usaha meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas produksi jamu tradisional di Malang.
