Perkembangan kuantitatif organ tanaman yang diairi dengan rendaman berbagai jenis bawang

Abstract


Potensi penggunaan air bawang yang dapat meningkatkan morfologi tumbuhan dikaji pada studi ini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan panjang batang, jumlah daun, dan panjang akar tanaman tomat yang diberi penyiraman dengan air rendaman berbagai jenis bawang. Penelitian ini melibatkan empat kelompok tanaman dengan jenis air penyiraman yang berbeda, yaitu air biasa, air rendaman bawang merah, bawang putih, dan bawang bombai. One-way analysis of covariance digunakan untuk menganalisis data panjang batang dan jumlah daun, sedangkan one-way analysis of variane digunakan untuk menganalisis data panjang akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan penyiraman air rendaman berbagai jenis bawang memiliki pengaruh terhadap perubahan panjang batang (F = 55,489; p-value < 0,01) maupun jumlah daun (F = 6,946; p-value < 0,01), namun tidak berpengaruh terhadap panjang akar (F = 0,321; p-value = 0,810).
