Abstract


Improving student learning outcomes on material analyzing Announcements text trough the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. This study aims to determine and describe the improvement of student learning outcomes on material Analyzing Announcements text using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach. This research is a Classroom Action Research and conducted in 2 cycles. The results of the research in cycles I and II showed that the assessment of student learning outcomes in this study included portfolio assessment, which was an assessment of students from the beginning of learning to the end of learning which included cognitive assessment in the form of a post test.
