The relationship of online communication between professional teachers and students on learning outcomes in online learning in elementary schools

Abstract


This study aims to identify the relationship of online communication between professional teachers and students on learning outcomes in online learning in elementary schools. The search for this research begins with the identification of the role of professional teachers, online communication, online learning, and student learning outcomes. This study uses a qualitative method where data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation so as to be able to dig deeper information. As objects in this study are professional teachers and students. The results obtained from this study state that professional teachers have a very important role in the implementation of online learning. There is good online communication not only between teachers and students, but also with parents. The implementation of online learning can be done by utilizing various digital media to support the achievement of learning outcomes that are able to cover the maximum cognitive, psychomotor and affective levels.
