Abstract


Increasingly tight competition in retail businesses in Solo and surrounding areas requires deep thinking from retail business managers, including Assalaam Hypermarket, so that this business unit can last longer and can prosper the owners, managers and staff of all employees, also can create multiplier effects for businesses. others in the Three Triangles group. The problem in this research is whether the important factors of Assalaam Hypermarket consumers in determining shopping at Assalaam Hypermarket in a long time and what steps have been taken by the manager of Assalaam Hypermarket in running this retail business. This research is qualitative descriptive which involves interviewing managers of Assalaam Hypermarkets (PAH), workers, and customers, as well as investing in general factors that attract shopping visits. From the results of this study it can be concluded that the general factors that make magnetism or attraction to visit shopping centers are price, friendliness and service, facilities, completeness of goods, easy location, store atmosphere, comfort, product quality and company image. While the important factors according to the manager of Assalaam Hypermarket (PAH) are the completeness of the goods, the convenience of shopping for prices and facilities for the Assalaam Hypermarket mosque. While consumers want prices, completeness of goods, store atmosphere and facilities at the Assalaam Hypermarket mosque.
